Here in the UK (Gainsborough, East Midlands), my nearest petrol station is charging Β£1.30/Litre for regular gas, so I guess that works out at about $6.63/US Gallon

I filled the tank in my 03 EV yesterday in the next town west of meat at $3.33/9 for the cheap stuff.
We seem to be at the higher end of the fuel price wars.

Nice diversion, Dennis! Very Happy

1.94 Costco. QT the market leader and 800lb gorilla still gouging in the poorest areas 2.37 gal. One or two stores at 2.03. This variation in pricing reminds me of airline ticket pricing that penalizes consumers for not knowing how the system works. Gasoline isn’t the only reason to visit Costco, cheapest price on carrots too. Six pound bag 4.00 whereas Walmart has five pound bags for 5 dollars. I’m feeding six horses, hey Walmart eat me.

My wife drove about 30 miles to a neighboring small town yesterday to do some grocery shopping. Before she left, I asked her to check gas prices out of curiosity, since we were still hovering at $2.80 here. When she got home she said they were at $2.65 up North.

Later that day, I used her car for a quick errand and noticed her fuel tank was almost empty (1/8 tank). I gassed it up while I was out (dropped to $2.75 that morning). When I got home I asked why she didn't gas up at $2.65. She said she thought she had plenty of gas in the car so she didn't bother. Oh well.

I filled the jerry cans for the generator this week. It was still $4.99 in Southeast for clear gas. In Northeast it was $5.15 from the same branded service station.
