And I'm paying 79.9/litre for propane in my daily driver. Propane should be going down soon hopefully after heating season is over. |

$2.16/gal diesel, I put $50 in the Passat today, that'll get me another 1,200 miles.
$2.03 for regular. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Local station here 2.47 87 ethanol gas...2.64 for 89 non ethanol gas. The non ethanol aka pure gas upped my MPG in the Subaru 8 miles per gallon. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.

It's been creeping up sense my last post here in SoCal. Last week I paid $3.19 for the cheep stuff, but today, with the help of Jenny, I paid $2.79. Now I hear there is a big tax hike coming in California. _________________ Prosit!

yup, at least 12 cents per gallon.
They cry that we need this to repair our roads, especially after last winter's rains.
Really? If it was caused by rain, we should have a five year surplus built up from the recent drought. Oh right, they spent that on other things.
Less than 70 cents on the dollar of the new tax goes to roads and bridges. The rest goes to public transportation, converting road lanes to bike lanes, and other nonsense that has NOTHING to do with car gas tax. It's a money grab, pure and simple.
And the BS of taxing electric cars extra because they don't pay gas tax is absurd! First, the same government gives tax credits to incentives them to buy electric, then they put a penalty on electric car registration every year. Make up your damn mind!
California is heading to insolvency. It's just a matter of when. And since we pay some of the highest taxes in the country, it's not a revenue problem, it's a spending problem. Time for Moonbeam and his minions to go! |

Yeah, we've been paying similar prices of 2.23 to 2.63 for the cheap stuff. Ever since the beginning of September (2.63), it's been flip flopping every couple of days. Yesterday it was 2.43, 2 days prior was 2.35. No rhythm or rhyme, just because. Before the Hurricanes it was 2.16 a gallon, then reports of the gulf shutting down, prices went up. It's pretty good, since the oil is from Canada, and the refinery is in Indianapolis and Detroit. So it's not a pipe line deal coming from Texas. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Yeah I read something about that. California is like 2:1 in debt versus taxable income. Something about welfare programs, pensions, and just every day out of pocket expenses. They made the list 3rd, versus Massachusetts #2, and New Jersey #1 and almost 3:1. The best was Alaska at 1:2. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Simply search all the businesses that have scrambled to relocate out of that state due to all the regulations, taxes, etc.. That lost tax base isn't helping the matter either. _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

Currently here at Safeway its $2.41 but wait...I am using my points and get $1.00 off of price so a buck forty one for twenty five gallons. They cut off at twenty five gallons. Yes I have brought five gallon cans when needed. Why not pump it out at the cheap price. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.
