We are holding steady at $3.39. Looks like the North shore stupid tax is 10 cents , Scotty. Finally moved into the new house in Setauket. Both of us 1 mile from work. I wonder if there is a car that doesn’t use gas that has that range? _________________ .ssS! |

I was gonna say 'a bicycle.'
On my daily trip to Huntington I saw prices yesterday in the 3.39.9 to 3.49.9 range. Yes, for the privilege (?} of living on the north shore.
Maybe that's why they drive so slowly there. Better mpgs offsets the higher prices. _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? Mending old things, preserving them, looking after them – on some level there's no rational grounds for it.”

Downtown Ocean Beach San Diego, $4.75 cash price for the cheap stuff.
Unreadable gas prices are $4.75 cash, $4.85 credit for 87 octane. $4.95 cash, $5.05 midgrade and $5.05 cash, $5.15 for 91 octane. Edit: 91 not 97. It's been a long time sense I bought high grade.

Radio today said Scottsdale AZ was highest in nation at $4.93, higher than CA which has higher gas taxes.
In rural AZ, gas is about 85 to 90 cents less expensive. And the gasoline for rural must be transported there by truck. Local station up to 3.43.9 from 3.29.9 today.
They should only choke, as my gramma used to say. _________________ “If you care for a thing long enough, it takes on a life of its own, doesn't it? Mending old things, preserving them, looking after them – on some level there's no rational grounds for it.”

That is probably based on CA average price, as there are places in CA that are much higher. _________________ nothing |

Arizona is having some delivery issues right now and some stations have no gas, that's why it's jacked up.
A few days ago it was $4.99 at the Chevron gas station near my house but they are always super high, usually 20-30 cents more than driving 5 miles further. _________________ How to Post Photos
