But Glenn doesn't have a Vanagon/Transporter/Eurovan, so he may be somewhat biased. I think ultimately the specific Moderators and the Super Samba and Jennepher should be responsible to make ultimate decisions. I don't see that Glenn has any say in the Vanagon/Eurovan Forums IF people are following rules and containing themselves to the topics specified by the Thread titles in a specific forum. This has been an issue on more than one occasion. No biase to Glenn but he doesn't have Vanagonitis _________________ '09 2.5L Jetta 5 cylinder, 5 spd, super turbo, see thread in H2O Cooled Jetta, etc...

This is last night at my favorite camp spot over looking downtown Leavenworth and the Icicle River Valley from above (Eastern Washington).

Hah, that's funny. We were up the Icicle Creek Road last weekend, one night in RV lay by and the next two at Rock Island, Number 9 Saturday night and Number 7 Sunday night.
Perfect weather but the creek was COLD!

Dixie and Maiken on the bridge over Icicle Creek

Hard to believe it was designed and built so far from where it seems the most at home.

87 Syncro
89 Westy
Finally got back my 2nd 87 Syncro from the wife. She is now registered and driving the Trailblazer in the first photo. It's going in to get the front end body work done and front sprayed, since she rear ended a bike rack. It is nice to have two Syncro's. But, I may sell the blue one. _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein

Interesting! First Vanagon I ever saw was in the parking lot at Malibu Surfrider beach. I had a 68 bus at the time, and I thought the Vanagon was awesome. Only took me another 28 years to buy one. _________________ "Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe." Albert Einstein

Anyone know this nice, early Vanagon? I saw it in Ventura, when I was out there in June.

Greetings All,
First post, first Vanagon. Did the fuel lines, fuel tank re-seal, and got new wheels.
