Inside lip, backside of bumpers.
What did they look like coming from the factory, NOS? Most of us have silver painted this area.
Chrome doesn't seem to plate as well to the backside, as compared to the frontside from my experience. Did the factory also apply a thin coat of silver in this area? |

Its a silvered paint. I have an NOS bumper on my '50, still has the VW sticker on it.
I find Eastwood's "Argent Silver" wheel paint to be a real close match...
