Question – does anyone have experience purchasing from MECATECHNIC in France?

I’m looking for a luggage rack for my wife’s 69 Karmann Ghia and they offer a stainless steel rack
https://www.mecatechnic.com/en-GB/stainless-steel-...2.htm#note

Hoping someone is willing to offer their feedback if they have any experience dealing with this company.

Thanks for the input. Since you didn't say, I'll assume you were satisficed with their product.

I would buy from them again. what's wrong with buying in the states from cip1 for example?

Absolutely nothing wrong from buying from within the states. That is my preference. Everything I've purchased for my ongoing restoration of my wife's 69 Karmann Ghia
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=730829
has been purchased from a number of difference stateside sites such as Airhead, CIP1, Jbugs, etc.

Just happen to run across the Mechatechnic site while doing a G search for a luggage rack and was wondering if they are a reliable source of parts.

I had a similar rack on my TR4 but the bolts just threaded into the 4 legs without those big brackets as I recall.
I added clamps that would hold 2 sets of skis/poles.
Look in the British Car Parts suppliers.

Those big brackets allow the rack to be bolted to the deck lid grille without drilling holes
