That's a seriously beautiful VW!

I'm also a big fan of the Retrosound radio. Looks terrific in that dash.

It was originaly sahara beige but was repainted with a costom mixed beige acryl. Quite darker. It is a very budget paitjob. A 10 footer for sure Very Happy

The engine is the original 1300 rebuild with some NOS mahle 86,5 cylinders so is 1621ccm now. ported 1500 sp heads, rebuild 28 pci carbs with 24,5mm venturies, home made manifold, linkage and now ocrassa kneicht look alike air filters ( not in this picture). The exhaust is original holowed out with SS pipe tips. In this pictures i have some tip inserts but i took them out becouse were too restrictive.

Thanks. Beautiful car. I worked on a Euro 67 here in the states, pretty rare here. A buddy bought it from the original owner. It had the 66 and older headlights, cloth ragtop sunroof, 6 volt, and if I remember it had wide pre 67 chrome. Maybe that was just on the hood, but I think it had wide chrome on the sides too. That was 30 years ago, so I forget. It had Euro bumpers, and other things I've forgotten about that made it different than a US car. Oh it had a 40 horse in it too. Wish I would have got it, he didn't keep it long. Sold it before I knew it was for sale.
