Is there any way to adjust/recalibrate a 12v gas guage? I haave a '67 bus with a fatchick 15 gallon tank. The guage doesn't read full when the tank is full, so when it is on "R" if has more than 1.5 gallons left. |

Do you have the fatchick sender in the tank or the 67 sender. The later sender is a couple inchs longer then the early sender _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

If the sender has an arm with a floaty thing on the end, you can bend the arm to adjust it, but if you have the tube type you're S.O.L. _________________ Hoockd on fonicks werkt for mee?

I heard that there is a screw on the back of he guage that you can turn to adjust where the needle sits, but that was an unsubstantiated rumour and I never tried to do it. Seems every guage reads slightly differntly, too. _________________ The Obsolete Air-Cooled Documentation Project http://oacdp.org/ |
