Hello all
It has been hot here in WV the last few days. I took the fastback out the other day and after the car had been on the interstate about a half hour it started to missing like the fire was beaking down or something. The engine was overhauled stock just a few months back everthing is stock but over the top headers. I had drove the car in cooler weather and no problems at all. Any Ideas
Thanks

Check to make sure that the timing, valves, spark plugs, points, etc.. are all set up correctly. This is usually overlooked and will make a huge difference in how the car runs when the temperature gets hotter.

Does it have a newer Blue Bosch coil?? They are known to crap out when they get hot. If so, try just putting a stock old black Bosch coil on and try it.

It does have a blue coil. I will try a black one and let you know.
Thanks
