I've got one but unfortunately it's useless to me because I'm missing one of the top mounts for it. Have all the other bits but this one. Anybody out there got one or know where to buy an original? We'd like to take our bikes on our 10 day trip down the Oregon Coast. This is what it looks like. Guess the white desk threw my camera out of focus but you get the idea.

Try this guy, he is in Canada, and makes the racks from scratch:

I’ve got a Paul Chen (url=http://www.renstore.com/itemdescHTMvers.asp?ic=CAS2047GT)‘Practical Viking’ sword(/url). Didn’t know they made bike racks. Sorry I can’t help…
Edit: OK, what am I doing wrong with that link? _________________ HerrBGone

Hi, I may have the part you need...is it to fit a Vanagon?
I've recently purchased a Vanagon MV and really love it. The PO gave me a Paulchen rack too, but I was missing the bottom bracket w lock. I ordered the parts directly from Paulchen, but the process was lengthy and relatively expensive.
As I was scouring around looking for the parts I needed, I came across a used top bracket and bought it (ironically from Westminster VW). I live in North Van so we are close.
I have just registered with The Samba after lurking around for a few weeks. This site is great! I'm not sure if you can contact me directly using the email provided thru my user name or if I need to post it here. In either case you are welcome to email me directly |
