Thanks for going over my car with me and helping me figure out what needs to get changed, what's correct, walking me over to find a correct wheel for my car, and thanks for the water! I sure appreciated it, all of you! What a great car show!
Christopher

Christopher , who is a new notch owner, had Lee Hedges checking out his car and even fixed a few things while giving some great tips and some encouraging words to help get the car in better stock shape. Nice to meet you Christopher, please call on us to help with any needs. jack

He meant it was a lot quieter. Laughing Laughing I called you today Jason on the way home but got your NEW voicemail with the couple on it. I fely kind of weird leaving a message so here it is. The Classic was cool, literally. About 10 degrees cooler than the past 2 or 3 years. Lots of nice type 3s. I got to meet a few new people from the Samba that I havent before. I got to talk to Angel about the RHD Ozzie square he had there. If you ever want to let go of that NOS grey cargo mat you'll know where to call to get the $$!!!

I agree that next year we should try to be the feature club. By then membership should be about 40-50. I'll get some pictures up soon. Also all those who are members of the club or want to be please make sure you get the information that I need to me or get you applications to Notchboy. Jack

EDIT:Thanks Frank Question

Who was the other guy with you at the Classic? Someone said it was Pedro?? I wish I would have known that. I bought a lot of stuff from him and would have liked to put the name with a face. Maybe next year.....

Yep, Pedro was there. He helped me find a correct wheel (we could only find one) and sold me some hubcaps for my new beauty rings. I'll post a couple of my pics of the Classic when I get home tonight.

Great Type 3 showing this year, especially in the stock section. Man that 7,000 mile original '64 Type34 was amazing.

Who placed in the show?

What were the killer finds out there in the swap? I got the early dizzy from Everett, a complete sidedraft carb and 3 more x-trim rings.

I also saw the Type 3 Mudflap reproductions that pop had in Lee's swap spot. Did anybody here end up picking up a set?

I sold some cool stuff. Smile

Lee and friends gave me the original Continental spare in their spot, that was my Type 3 "buy" of the show.
