Love your car! you sure can't beat a lowlight. Curious how it drives compared to the 356? you seem to be getting out and about in the ghia, just wondering if its a preference or a necessity? |

^Very cool rare period colour picture...
VW specs say a black hood is the only correct colour on a Pearl White Lowlight Cab...all other Lowlight Cabs had a second choice _________________ -StockRocks- |

Restoration finished after five years. I now have time to enjoy the result of my L352 cognac 58 Golde sunroof Coupe.

That is a stunning car. Congratulations! I just read up on your beautiful leather bulkhead mat, not only does it look amazing, I can imagine it blends in well with that famous VW smell! |

You did a fantastic restoration! That Ghia really found the right owner. You rarely see a Ghia restored to this level of perfection. |

Thought I would post my question here rather than a seperate topic.
I bought a pair of lowlight European headlights in wonderful shape, but they are missing the fat headlight rings. How hard are they to find in really good shape? Anybody reproduce them? I saw what looked to be rings in the classified and are awaiting info on those - but curious how tough they are to get. Anybody have an extra set? _________________ Kevin "Wiggy"

I don't usually care for those beauty rings, but they look great on your car. She's a beauty. _________________ Kevin "Wiggy"

The wide euro trim rings seem to be easy enough to find...

but the correct for lowlight ones with made in germany and hella stamped in them are another kettle of fish... |

It was worth a shot , but no luck. The guy said these rings will not work on the early headlights. Any other ideas????? _________________ Kevin "Wiggy"
