Fast shipping,
Mark does great work, excellent craftsmanship I will most likely order another one as soon as I return fron Korea. If you don't know what these do someone has not educated you properly on the functioning of the VW engine, you've been treated like a mushroom. This part is essential just like your engine tin, keep up the great work Mark!

I received a nice Zwerks reproduction piece of cooling tin that mounts to the oil cooler, AKA, the Hoover bit, from Mark @ Zwerks. Fit perfect. Turns out I had the original vw piece on my oil cooler, but half was broken off. I saw that broken piece a few years back, and couldn't figure out what it was then. Zwerk's repro piece fit the bill. Thanks Mark.

Here's a picture of the new one compared to the new one,,

Once again, Thanks Mark. Your communication skills are excellent.

The stock one was broke and I didn't notice till I ran across the discussion on samba. I didn't want to wait so I repaired mine. I thought it would be a simple fab job till I started trying to fit it to the tin and after about 6 hours I finally got it right. I will buy the next one and order it ahead of time so it will be waiting for the next motor I assemble.

I got the new type hoover bit with the fastening bolt to doghouse.
the Hoover bit fits well and the info I received on the application of the foam for the oil cooler very help full, been a visual person I looked up some photos of the oil cooler with foam in "How to Hotrod Volkswagen Engines" pg# 88 has a nice illustration of the cooler.
In Haynes "VW beetle & Karmann Ghia" on chapter 3-5 photo 5.6, you can see how the foam covers the Hoover bit, I would like to find a pic of the oil cooler in the doghouse, there seams a lack of foam on the lower part of the cooler.

I think having some illustrations of this would be nice on your web site.

I will have to report back on the lower cylinder tin, if I ever see my heads or machinist aging Think

shiping fast, info grate, product out standing.

I would definitely buy more when I run out.

This is the second hoover bit Ive bought from Mark in the past year for another engine of mine. And like the first, the fit is excellent. Glad he makes these as they are hard to come by. Communication and shipping was great, plus, Mark is a super friendly person to deal with.

I received a hoover bit from Mark a couple of months ago and finally got around to installing it. I purchased the one for a Type4 oil cooler in a Type1 shroud and it fit perfectly.

Mark provided great communication and an awesome, well constructed part that I would never have been able to use if he didn't make one.

Get one from him, Type1 or 4, you wont be disappointed.
