|
|
I have a 1970 VW Beetle. I've lowered the front end with drop spindles. I had 195-50-15's on it with no problem. Then it was time for new tires and decided to go stock. I bought some 165R15's all around. I have no problem with rubbing in the rear, just the front.
I'd like to get smaller tires for the front, but dont want to go to incredibly smaller than the 165R15. Can someone recommend a tire that would work??
Are 135R's ALOT smaller than 165R's?? |

165's will always rub on lowered cars. 135's and 145's are smaller in diamerter by quite a bit then 165's...and narrower. i dont feel comfortable running them, but lost of people do. get new 195-50's for the front and be done with it. _________________ 67 bug x3

Thanks 67jason, your probably right, 195-50-15's will probably drive the best. I think I'll go with some 145R15's though, I dont want to go wider in the front. It may look wierd. |

can always run a 5.5 inch rim and use 195-60s. gives a good look to the car. _________________ 67 bug x3
