Scottsdale Pavilions -VWs Take Over The Pavilions

“The Hottest Show This Side of Yuma”

When: July 15 4pm-9pm

Where: Loop 101 and Indian Bend Rd in Scottsdale, AZ
Show is located at the Scottsdale Pavilions Shopping Center

Cost: FREE!!!!

Information:

There is a dedicated area for all VWs starting at 4pm. If there are too many cars/ buses/ etc. the vehicles will have to fill the usual areas that are dedicated to the respective vehicles (usually the first row in front of McDonalds).

There are a few grass areas to set chairs in, or whatever you want (a canopy? Not sure if this okay, but you could try it).

The Scottsdale Pavilion show is the largest weekly continuous classic car show in the United States, now in its 15th year!

Why: There are no VW shows in our area until September, so we need a summer show, and here is our chance to get together and congregate.

Cruise: There will be a cruise starting at 9pm from the Pavilions. The destination is not yet determined, but the thought is to go to a place to eat and maybe grab a few cold beverages (Pepsi of course).

How many people can we get from surrounding AZ cities and states, Nevada, Southern CA, maybe NM? Mexican cars too? Tucson... Dry Heat Panzars? LowLifeVW, Wolfsburg Reg, AZ Bus Club, Las Vegas, Brotherhood, German Folks...Anything is possible. Please pass the word.

Hopefully we can get a lot of VWs and make everyone fit. This would allow for a good time and hopefully a lot of cars.

i bought it in cali, tried to drive it back to phoenix, and in the baking mountains...it broke down!!

Only saw one VW at the 83rd & Beardsley show. Sorry to say... that was a wasted trip. There is always next week at the Pavilions!!!! July 15!!!

Thats a big place. Arn't they going to rope off and dedicate a special area only for VW's just to the south side of McDonalds?

Looks like we will be cruising to In N Out for a little double-double action. I will attempt to nail down the route tonite, but it looks like we will cruise thru Tempe going south and turning on University. Hope to see you all Saturday night.

so urm, yeah was that a good turn out or not?

there were like max 9 buses, maybe 30 beetles.......no rat rods(mines broke down)

i dont know im thinking it could of been bigger! i mean i know there was a storm earlier, but these vehicles were built in germany! theyre made for shit weather! hoping future events attract more.....and more customs jobs...these pretty boy restored vehicles are cack! want some chopped n dropped
