Engine size help

I have an engine in my '65 pick up which appears original to the bus, it is 6v and the number starts with an 'F', bus is orignally from Sweden.

What is the engine size, I thought it was 1500cc but having driven it I'm not so sure!!!

THe "F" block means 1300, but who knows what parts someone bolted onto that block. Could be 1300, 1500, 1600, heck even 1641 or 1679 for bolt-on parts. The only way to know for sure is to pull a cylinder head and measure the bore/stroke.

An F case engine originally was a 1300cc engine that came in a 66 bug.

Like was said, it could have been changed to a larger displacement sometime in the past 40 years.
