OK i just pulled out my T-IV 73kombi engine and pulled of the bad head. (it had 0 comp in #3 hole and as I expected it ate the intake seat, and was starting to eat the #4 in seat as well)
It's an "CB" engine code with 33mm and 39mm valves.......
I am sure its a 1700cc and I have no breather holes, confirmed by local shop
owner......
any Recomends on where to get a good rebuilt, used, or new head? I need it ASAP as I have the Bus pulled apart in my Ex'Gfs garage, and have no idea when she will boot my bus
thanx
on edit: I am presently in Missoula MT |

thanx for the replies......I have been to see "ray" at mountain imports.....
not a lot of help. He wanted them to do the job too. $1400 to R&R my engine........took me 6 hours, and a $40 stand.
I just called bus boys in boulder too, but I would like a head W/OUT the extra 'breather' holes if possible.
Not affraid to overnight ship if I can find one. |
