Are BD ones different from later Jail-Bars?, I've looked on Barndoor.dk but no details.........if so can anyone post photos of the differences??

Also, if different has anyone got an og set for sale ??

Chris the jail bars are in one piece all the way around the back of the bus, the fittings are the same as later buses i think.
Maybe you could get some aluminium tube/bar and make your own.

Checked their catalogue, they sell repro kits (not one piece jail bars) page 60 part no. 0564-30 .......I'II e-mail them for the cost of the kits and post it here Wink

The 'luggage bar' bolts to the top of the engine bay on a BD deluxe, not onto the seat back as per later buses, so yes the uprights are different.

I have a set of barndoor jailbar. I think they are from an early samba from 51 or 52....Does someone know until when this kind of jailbar where mounted ?
