The same style latch was also used on crewcabs, but i think there are small differances, if youlook at your picture you will see the 3 mounting holes are differant, I cant remember the differances, but i'm shure somone will turn up with the exact answer soon.

I wouldn't call those Barndoor Spoons, I'd just call them Barndoor Popout Latches. "Spoons" refers to later style popout latches found on 1955-1962 era Buses. _________________ Please check us out on Instagram at @holygrailgarage

The one on the left is a barndoor latch, the one on the right is a 59-60 crew cab latch _________________

the barndoor knobs are a slightly different shape also and the hinging mount is a different angle as well on the barndoor unit.
pretty hard to put a price on them as they are hard to find in useable condition...most of the time they are broken.
I have seen truck ones for sale at $150.00 per pair in decent re-useable shape, I bought a n.o.s barndoor latch for $75.00 a couple of years ago.....Barndoor I'm sure would fetch a bit more these days. |

I say keep them. You may need them one day???
I sold a set of BD one's for about $40 each? Wasn't much. It just depends whos selling them and who wants them?? They are not BIG MONEY!! If someone pays lots of cash for them, they don't know much.
But you also have to figure that I am still stuck in the 80's pricing, so don't listen to me. Right Linda!!
BBJ and I found a box of them in a parts stash and they didn't cost us no $100 each!!!! EEEYYYYEEEEE!!!!! I have one pair on Baboon. El Chewbacca will get a set too! Too bad Seņor Panel has no side pop out windows, or he'd get a set too! you know what I mean, Right?
Linda, did you ship out that glass!!!!!!! OI !!

Nah, don't say that. There are a few out there that have not been discovered. You'd be surprised. Just be ready, that is all I can say. |

Put em up on fleabay, they'll bring you some coin, and the shine will sparkle in some prospective ebay bidders eyes, you watch. Seems like when ever someone wants a value, the regulars dumb the worth down, but if it was THEM selling them..., just my .02 |
