Yes they do. They are both original. Probably printed by different printers...?

I can confirm I own one of those editions with each second page in blue as well, and I'm also convinced it's no fake...

Mine is marked as "first edition". So i have to keep two different first editions and one second edition...

Kind regards, Tom

Thanks for your comment Tom! I really like the “blue edition”. It’s really nice and I think it’s printed in less numbers then the “black edition”. Best regards, Patrick

Perhaps one of the rarest items in my collection - as it is a unique piece of artwork.
This watercolor painting from the German graphic artist Ernst van Husen was made for an advertising brochure from ARAL.
This is the original painting ! It came up for sale with some more submissions for this brochure some years ago, unfortunately I didn't buy more of them Crying or Very sad

Ernst van Husen has designed some brochures directly for VW too, but he is not as well-known as the famous Bernd Reuters.
He also made some very nice watercolor paintings for the booklet "Die kleine Reise"

Yes, I never tried to make a section because they are too large to scan and photos might be strange, even though it would be interesting.

I have a few calendars and have posted some photos in the Gallery in the past

If you want to make a new "Calendar" Forums thread of the covers, that would be neat. You have more than me to make a good start to a thread.

Here are a few covers I have posted:

I have a question for the literature gurus.

My wife said when she a kid, she remembers seeing a book on Volkswagen in the school library that contained transparencies of exploded views of the car (or parts of the car). This book would have been published in the '60s or '70s. She says she never should have returned the book, and has been looking for one ever since.

Is anybody aware of a book that has some transparency overlays? The only one I've ever heard of was the pre-war Trans Art book, and that's not it. I've been searching the literature classifieds and eBay with no luck.

Had my dealer posters framed and put behind “museum glass”. And found a wall big enough to hang them on.... Very Happy
