One more brand to throw out there is Sikkens. Very popular in Europe. I worked at a shop in Northern California where we used it exclusively. They have high quality products, and paint matching online.

i tried a second attempt at a scan, making an attempt at dupont chromabase, instead of PPG this time. after an initial scan, and a sample mix, without the clearcoat on it, it looks right on, or at least a 99% dead match in my opinion. i only purchased a pint for the time being to two tone the wheels, body will be at a later date. i did keep a second copy of the mixing formulas, for future mixing needs. they only keep that on file for about a month, and then who knows if it will scan back correctly the next time. if anyone wants the formula, let me know, i will post it.
thanks for your help guys!! |

Paint for poptop? I would use gelcoat. Though I am only a novice painter. I have redone a couple of small boats. I figure saltwater and sun is more harsh than the road and sun. It's easy also. |

My car is like a green met. but I can't locate any number on the car and found out there's green diamond and almond green both listed for 1957.. my car is a standard coupe with semiphores , left drive, km speedo, and basically original and if I ever paint it I would like to do it in the original color.... Thanks |
