I have 165R15's all around. My tires rub the fenders in the front due to 2.5" drop spindles. I want to get 145R15's in the front to fix that problem.

Can someone please post a picture of 145R15's in the front so I can get an idea of how it will look???

Thanks

Hey there, I had the same problem when I put in my adjustbl beam on, I went with the 135R15's you can find a pic of my 68 with these tires in my gallery under the title "Our 68 bug and 72 Bay window" if you need something closer just let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Alot of the drop spindles push your tires out around 1/2 inch per side. Instead of spending the money on tires you might look at a narrowed beam. A narrowed beam would give you the space you lost and a little more depending on how much its narrowed.

No, I'll save mone and get the tire's. $120 for 2 with S/H. A good buy if you ask me. Plus its a daily driver. No way can I afford down time for a huge install such as a beam.

Anyone have any good pics???

I have a 65 with CB Performance dropped spindles and 145s up front. They rub a bit if I have two or more passengers and take a hard corner, but nothing to serious.

I also have a 56 with CB Performance dropped spindles, 2" narrowed beam, disc brakes, Empi 8 spoke 5.5 rims with 135s and they still rub a bit if I have two or more passengers and take a hard corner Confused .
