3) who has her now, & where (top pic)? does she come out anymore?
4) if they're not the same bus, where's the one in the lower pic?

The more he would ask for stuff the more I realized that he would likely end up doing far more harm than good for that Bus. He would always reassure me that he had "a really good body guy in TJ."

| I posted a couple of early pics of Riki's bus in the gallery a couple of weeks ago, Yeah Linda, Mario use to call me asking for parts too, one time he wanted a pressed front bumper I had for sale and I told him it wasn't a BD front bumper, he definetly had a lot of needs! |

Yup! That went to the UK. Rikki did a small write up about it in his bus corner of VOLKSWORLD Magazine.
That other RHD BD Delux you guys mentioned, the one Doug the Head was going to buy went to a cat by the name of Mario. He is in Mexico. |
Juanito- Mario used to call me from time to time to ask me for parts for that Bus. He would ask me stuff like "Do you have a front floor mat for a Barndoor for sale?" I was just laughing my ass off because not only was he asking for something very hard to find but he was forgetting to add in the fact that he needs one for a Right Hand Drive Bus on top of it. I wished him good luck. That was years ago before Fuentes was making his repros.

So who owns the one at Tony's place in Banning??
I was able to view the Beat Down Barndoor Samba from Mexico at Lenny's pre O.C.T.O party
It was around the parking lot from Lenny's shop at Tony's friends little shop in the corner...I remember that one as those stud gun pins were poking out of its back like a Chia Pet.....it was not as bad as the bus that Jay at rust box had at O.C.T.O but damn they looked they both were rolled off a cliff.....I guess anything is fixable with time.
Do they both have their correct vin tags to put a year model on them?? |

yo dudes! the black and red one is the the one i sold that was all swaped around with other junk parts that made it look non barnyish it is not at my shop, it still is around in town, then the greenish one is from mexico that is all beat up and is the one that came from banning also, this one is at my shop in orange and not japan that would be to for to comute to work everyday, hope this helps, gee wiz richard bring your vert

i was just going thru the early photos in the barndoor gallery. lotsa cool pictures from 5 years ago. my 53, pre-jurassic days, johnny's 54, pre-babboon days, rikki's deluxe before it was on the road, everett's kombi, mercury bus when it got yanked out.
lotta stuff has changed in 5 years!

The 55 Deluxe I sold a few years back is also in So Cal, I heard it is almost done now. Somewhere someone posted a pic of it when I was unloading it off the transport truck here.
