This came from The Samba years ago. I have no idea whose dog it is but he (she?) has a great face. There must be a couple hundred captions you could put with this face.

This is my now five-year-old Boxer. At the time, he was around three when this was taken. Perfectly natured and a great looking pooch...not bad for a pound pup.

Though I would still like a chance to meet the guy that beat the hell out of him before I adopted him.

No talking would take place in that meeeting. Wink

I agree - there isn't a circle of hell dark/deep/terrifying enough for the abusers of animals...

See there, you got the right idea! Just proves that good people still exist.
Let's just hope that the old saying of "what goes around, comes around" holds true.

Good looking Labs also! Wink

Here's a pic of 'Max' (Maximum Velocity) our Boxer that we had for 11 years. That's our Westy in the background as it was going back together. Max was 75 lbs of dedicated family protector who was ready to lay his life on the line for us, he's gone now for two years and still dearly
missed!

Growing up with only Goldens and Labs, I wouldn't have suspected that Boxers, or any other dog for that matter, could have compared. But, as you stated, Boxers are great with kids, gentle when need be, but if the wife or myself are asleep, or just not paying attention, their is no doubt this guy would put himself on the line in a blink of an eye.

In fact, at a local car show I had brought the Beetle, to drive there, not to show it. Anywho, I parked on the main street in which show cars had to take to pull into the parking lot and found out that dogs where not allowed. Discouraged, I left Hudson in the car in the passenger seat (it was November) with the windows down to quickly talk to a friend and advise that I couldnt stay due to the "no dog rule." I come back to the car, there is a five-year-old kid in the drivers seat playing around with Hudson at his side. Hudson looked just as happy as a clam with someone keeping him company for the few minutes I was away. Guess the kid is used to the "hop right in and test for yourself" type car shows. Laughing

Anyways, by far the best dog I've known.

Also great thread to start EZ Gruv...nothing better than VW and our shaggy kids getting them dirty!

Here's Tosa my Mexican rescue from Todos Santos. Smart as a whip with a mean case of seperation anxiety. I'm waiting to come back to the bus one day with foam from my seat cushions strewn all over the place.

Here are couple pics of my pup Rufus. He's always with me at the shows, probably one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet.

That is one chubby husky. Laughing

I have owned 3. My current is going to be lite weight female. All were females. I had two born and raised as pups 16 years ago. Different breeders. One was only 35 to 40 pounds. Would have been great sled dog. High energy. The other was up to 95 in her hey day. Way too much for a female. She did not look fat but was a thick ass dog.

My newest is only 6 months old and only 25 pounds right now. She may hit 35 to 40. Little runt! hehehe

Soooo much energy though. Our last husky lived 14 years before she went down and for years, it was like just another adult in the family. Did what you said and was so easy to take care of. Team geritol. Laughing Now, this pup is wearing me out. Been so long since I had a pup I am being chewed on to death and she is wound up like a top.

Better be careful. If he sees a squirrel, that bumper's not gonna slow him down much! Laughing
