My 2 German Sheps w/ the '79 Westy I picked up last month..

Just a sad note to ad, that was the last pic of my Big Shepherd, Chief, the next morning on our a.m. walk, he had a seizure on the side of the road, it was BRUTAL, had to take him to the Vet & have him put down, he was 11-12 years old, a true rescue off the streets, we had him 7 + good years, I miss him so much.
Now we are looking for a Bud for the smaller female, looking at a Belgian Malinois, or another GSD @ a local rescue place....

Ringo, my co-pilot. He loves the safaris up to almost 40mph, then he lays on the middle seat and sleeps.

Just found this thread, here are my contributions, for now.

My helper is Serebro, a mutt who showed up at my door when about four months old. Amazing dog, so emotionally intelligent, obedient, and protective.
Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Serebro took his first day off today, so Daithi (pronounced da-hee), my SD, helped. Here he is simulating a full tank of fuel so I can check ride height. Great mix, as has the Golden personality of wanting to please with the high drive and love of working of the Aussie, though does eat leashes when I am not paying attention, why his collar and leash don't match (he is about four so not quiet out of puppyhood).

Because of these two and Serebro being a tad larger pup, removing the back seat and replacing the seat bottom with a carpeted "floor" (Sewfine will custom cut and bind if provide a pattern, which still need to do, damn compass vanished when almost done).

I just wanted to post an update. My Freddie, on the left, passed away at the end of July. He was 16, and lived an amazing life. He's pictured here with his brother Einstein.

My good friend Bill S in central Connecticut, USA went for an afternoon drive in his Speedster replica (JPS, Stone Grey, built in 2011) with his fiancee Gloria. Wonderful day with low 70's F. Coming back up his driveway, their dog Jake was waiting. Good-natured Jake is an approx. 10 year-old (male) golden lab mix rescue, adopted in 2012. He has not yet ridden in the Speedster, but has in some of Bill's VW Cabriolets. He took this fine photo of the moment, and I made some minor enhancements.

Finn, our rough collie, is now 5 years old, and is a great companion and family member. He enjoys riding with us in town parades in our old VWs, whenever he can. The three pictures here are from the Branford, CT 2019 Memorial Day Parade (first two), and the 2019 Branford Christmas Tree Lighting Parade.
