Last one: Finn the collie riding along with me in our '60 Bug, 2021 Branford, CT Memorial Day Parade (not nearly as exciting for him as the open convertible).

That pic qualifies for VW’s in the snow, also. Kinda double whammy or a duece pic.

Puppy #1 chillin' in the Bug, 8/15/2022... The date was Monday, August 15th, 2022, and me and Finn the Collie (6 years of age) had just finished up a visit to the local dog park, on a rather warm afternoon. We had taken the '70 Bug convertible there, and enjoyed a top down ride both going there and coming home. This was right after some dog park romping--time to relax in the back seat and get ready for the ride back home...

That reminds me of the 1959 Disney movie, "The Shaggy Dog", starring Tommy Kirk (below, in transition) who keeps turning into a sheepdog at inopportune times due to a cursed ring.

Monday evening, September 26, 2022, our six year old collie Finn was pretty psyched to be taking a top-down convertible ride out to the local dog park in Branford, CT. And I'm happy to still be driving the '70 Bug around with the top down (on nice days, that is, now that we're into October)...

My daughter's 4-year old pit, Kooper. He's a gentle dude. A recent rescue from a shelter. He happens to be deaf, and is currently working on learning visual commands.

Here he is in my 1977 Westy:

Many years ago my wife & I had a white pit that was deaf. My wife (the animal person in the house) claims it wasn't uncommon for a white pit to be born deaf. Buddhist, my wife's white pit, was good with hand signals, as long as he was looking at you. It was completely useless if he was already running down a stray cat Embarassed

Beautiful dog Sir.
