I work outside all year around. During the hot summer many people ask me how I put up with the heat. My reply is that the heat isn't a problem, it's the snow and ice I can't stand.
So my question, if you had to live in only one extreme all year long which would it be?
100+ degree heat, or freezing cold with snow and ice? _________________ 2017 Street Comp Champion - Thunder Valley Raceway Park - Noble, OK

Neither. I don't have heat in the winter and I don't have AC in the summer. |

It depends upon the age and the humility!! bikinis are nicer than snowshoes! I hope to not live in snow again! best to have 4 seasons with no extreme! Who in hell wants to work? Tom |

I would prefer the cold, when you're cold you can always put more clothes on to warm yourself up, if you are too hot however, you can only take so much off before you get arrested. _________________ boobs |

I'd take the heat any day, but then again I live at a couple of degrees North of 50, so I get more than enough of long, cold winters! |

I definitely prefer the cold than the warm. I work in a greenhouse and last week it was 138 degrees in our glasshouses and about 110 where we were planting. Also there are less people out in the winter - which is nice. _________________ 85 Westy Weekender |

These 105º - 107º days in Oklahoma suck ass. I can deal with temps up to the mid-90s, but after that it sucks to try to work outside without melting. Cold weather is fine as long as there isn't any wind. Fat chance of that here as well, hot or cold. _________________ West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943)

I've lived in both. Born and raised in Lake Havasu, AZ and now I live in Colorado. I'll take the cold and snow over the heat. At least you can dress accordingly and enjoy some snow activities. When its 120 degrees all you can do is strip naked and sit in front of the AC. _________________ and take the kids for instance "Are we going in the Volkswagen bus?" and they say "Yay!" and clap their hands and if it's a glorious day you can slide the sunroof back and let a little of the glory in and all of a sudden, it stops looking funny.

Just like JohnM said Neither....We do not have A~C in the house and the winters are mild...
I did live in the Desert of Arizona and man you can only take off so many clothes and still are hot. _________________ Volkswagen: We tune what we drive.
