Could be someone with big fingers placing the ad on their smart phone?
If you're in the region, don't you have to take a look? _________________ '84 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX

A Club Joker hightop, double locker Syncro in Germany for 3,200Euro. Probably forgot to add another number in front of the 3. Anyway, it would be the bargain of the century if it that was the actual price.

has this already been posted? if not, looks like a nice starting point:
1989 Blue Full Westy, Manual transmission, 230k+ mi, $12,500.00
Port Townsend, PNW Washington
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/d/1989-vw-vanagon-westfalia/6419530308.html
No pictures of the otherside of the van (drivers side) So i cant see if it is suffering from the fridge rust at the lower seam, but seems like a relatively nice priced westy that looks like it is in good shape.
from the ad:
I'm the third owner and we've had the van since 2002.
The odometer reads 292397 but the engine was rebuilt in 2000 and has approximately 125,000 miles.
She is water cooled.
This van is ready for a road trip!
It was just tuned up at Petersons (oil, plugs and wires, cap and rotor, air filter, bulbs, wipers and new throttle cable. And brake, fluid, hoses checked etc.)
I just bought new:
Reinforced sidewall tires (they have chains too)
A new propane tank (installed underneath van)
Small dent on back right corner. It was there when I bought it.
Someone used touch up paint on slide door and passenger door.
The optional brown seat behind pax seat is torn.
I've never charged the a/c.
Fridge works with electric hooked up. Petersons got the fridge going with propane, I haven't yet.
The stove and faucet both work.
The stereo has aux/USB/Bluetooth.
New JBL 6"x9" speakers in rear. JBL speakers in front.
The heater, front and back, both work great. She's a warm and rugged machine.
I put the three window pop top tent on in 2005. It has a few small tears but has lots of life left.
I converted the power windows and locks to manual in 2007. It's so much better.
Comes with the Yakima Roof Rack and Surf Board Rack.
Also comes with a full cover (has small fixable tear)
Serious inquiries only please. Thanks for checking her out and let me know if you want to test drive her.
Thank you!

He has other Ebay item listings and gives more details and photos about a pair of shoes than he gives about that Vanagon.
Come on Neil, be reasonable, add some details.
I think his Samba name is something like prickly-little-porcupine

ya but i havent seen a truley straight rust free vanagon yet , im sure there out there and people have gotten lucky and the body lines on the hatch look a touch off and maybe slightly bowed ( this is why u cant trust carfax if it dint go through insurance or a dealership its not reported ) i would be more concerened about whats going on with the vents and syncro gas tank location but says automatic trans ? defienetly some flags if its a real syncro swap just misrepresnted its a good deal . |

That's Furrylittleotter's mid engine conversion. What happened to the rear radiator cutouts?
Surprised there's so little info about a VERY converted van.
Definitely not a Syncro.

Very weird with the absolutely bare bones description and minimal pics considering the effort done to the van. Why leave possible buyers guessing when you can link them to the build page. A lot of people will just skip than call. Plus, lets not mention the massive changes that has been done to it. Does he really want to sell it?
