Gratuitous ad bump here. I started this thread years ago.

Now I'm moving on (unfortuntely) and selling my best friend of 15 years.

I feel like it's a great deal because I know the bus and what it took to get here. Wutchoo guys think, priced right?

Thanks for looking. Very Happy

I like the Frankenstein stitching on the front bumper. Happy trails!

An east coast score. Exclamation
Some elbow grease and electrical contact cleaner would probably go a long way!

A little steep, perhaps, but someone might be interested.

Syncro Westfalia. $8K.

Original factory Syncro Westy with Locking Differential.
Been sitting for 10 plus years.
Exceptionally Rusty New England Syncro.
Replacement rebuilt GEX (I would assume useless) engine installed with a new exhaust a few years ago but never started.
Does not run but rolls and steers
Interior is actually nice but horribly mouse infested.
About 120k on the odometer.
Perfect donor Syncro
$8k or make an offer.
Paperwork available.
This is not a running and driving vehicle

Exceptionally rusty, assumed junk engine and horribly stinky...

Another man's junk is another man's treasure. Is it bad that I see the good in it? Laughing

Nice van vwjedi! If I didn’t have too many already....

And thanks for the thread - one of my favorite morning coffee rituals. Few more posts to 300 pages....

I almost pulled the trigger on this one, seems like a good deal, but will take some cash to get it road worthy.

Dead electrics and cheapish '87 Wolfsburg with alloys and curtains.

Oh, that is the interior I want. Do you think paying $2600 is worth it for the pop table, jump seats, and curtains? If it were already in the DC area, I'd be all over it. But it's just far enough I have to think about it.
