I guess it would.
From the first post of this thread:

I lurk around on the Split forum since I am a previous owner and want to find a decent double cab. Anyway they have a thread started that highlights Nice Buses for a good price since so many out there are priced like gold ounce for ounce.
I thought it might be a good idea to start one up here too. I found this Westy Camper that looks like a real clean well loved Vanagon that is priced nice for a clean Westy. Check it out:

Don't post your own ads, obviously everything you have for sale is super cheap and a steal at twice the price... |

Guessing this question is to me? If so then no not my van. I do t plan to part with mine. I will admit I think I am at or above that van price and I do t have some of those upgrades (propex, newer engine).
This is my “Grey Goose”:

I'm glad to hear it is not, and that you are not planning to sell. Particularly the part about "due to health issues" as was stated in the now removed cl ad.
The van in the ad had many similarities to the Grey Goose, enough to stir suspicion. _________________ '87 Westy Weekender - daily driver on salt-free roads

What’s happened? Aren’t the previous two vans supposed to list at $25K? Both look like good values. _________________ - Jim

Nice looking van but I wonder how you replace a timing belt on a Vanagon. _________________ The Road Goes Ever On & On……...

The only cheap thing in a classic VW sits behind the steering wheel
There's a nut loose between the seat & steering wheel of my van.
A pirate walked into a bar and the bartender said " Hey Mate, You've got a steering wheel in your pants"; to which the pirate replied," Yeah & it's driven me nuts"!!! _________________ The Road Goes Ever On & On……...

Looks like he has an inline 5 cylinder which could well have a timing belt. _________________ Currently -> Frida: 87 Tizian Red (mostly) Vanagon GL Westfalia w/ 2.0L ABA conversion

Thanks for pointing that out. My ignorance is showing, I should have read the entire description. I think of these vans as only having the 2.1 or diesel that was imported to the US. _________________ The Road Goes Ever On & On……...

I didn't know they were imported with those either…if it was on this side of the border, I'd like to take a look/test drive. It looks very nice. _________________ Currently -> Frida: 87 Tizian Red (mostly) Vanagon GL Westfalia w/ 2.0L ABA conversion
