I'm always looking for deals on C/L, and this ain't it!
Says 27,500 FIRM (hehe).....
Okay, it's got a new 2.2 (gowesty?), and I LIKE those 18" wheels, but come on! Must be cause it's in Malibu?

At first glance, I thought that was the BIGGEST side awning I have ever seen!

Cool, I hope it goes for that. Then my 85 would be worth at least $28K!! _________________ '85 Wolfsburg Weekender |

It would cost more than THAT to pry Winston from my cold, dead or really, really, really overpriced fingers! '84, except for the ~@#$!~@$ transmission, was a very good year.
PRICELESS! SOME THINGS ARE PRICELESS!

and to think I was complaining about having to put $3K into my 82 engine... Right now there are several(!) air-cooled models here priced over 10K
Must be Westy season. Oh well, I'll put the engine in, do some body work, and then I can move to Cabo and retire on my ill-gotten gains.
Best,
Lanval |

This HI-PRICING of wbx & westys mostly ,makes me think it is just a numers game to see if a DUMMY is out there. I go to a lot of all brand auto related events & always the for sale area is full of overpriced vehicles that seem to still be there at closing time..............maybe just need a few more beers or does that apply only to women???? |

Donald Trump either sold the Westfalia, or saw you guys working him over , and yanked the ad---
Maybe his finger's were hitting the wrong button's when he placed the ad---
Nice silicone job on the tires. _________________ T.K. |

Wow, well I'd be willing to let my '90 syncro west go for $40k!
But..... mine is clearly to dirty to sell, so never mind. _________________ previous:

Seriously - could you even spend $27K on your westy?
Let's see...
$4,000 - for a sweet paint job.
$8,000 - for a wicked motor
$5,000 - for air ride suspension
$2,000 - Kick a$$ sound system
$2,000 - misc. camping improvements
$21,000
Sucker who buys a "Go Westy" van or other $27,000 van - priceless!!!! |

You forgot the base price for the van.... that's got to be $6k for a rebuildable shell, right! _________________ previous:
