The topic of the VW Bug gorilla in western Vermont came up recently but I couldn't find my photo of it. Here he is. Enjoy. (If anybody knows the year of that bug I'll stick the photo in the appropriate gallery; I didn't want to offend anyone.)

Based upon what I can see of the bug, I think it is a 1973 standard beetle.

Winter cars. In Europe I had a Renault 4 for the Winter. Heater worked good. I sure liked my GTI for the Summer...

Ok,
I get the part with the VW in the air. What puzzles me is what is going on with the lower hand? Was there a Mrs Gorilla there before being goosed or what? Either way it looks un-wholesome, bound to end up as an election issue with some conservative or religious group.

The EPA made them do that to catch the oil leaks.
