The first photo is a picture from the Wolfsburg floor in '53, the second is of my bus.

I wasn't born when the first photo was taken, but it looks like the same bus to me.

it was from the barndoor gallery
maybe nvega55
the only pic of it i think

the deluxe looks a single light colour, doesn't it - no hint of brown over red. + light wheels

I noticed this rack that I picked up a while back looks very much like some of the Barndoor racks in this thread. Any information would be appreciated.

That is a BeKoWa rack. It could be from the Barndoor time frame but they were made later too.

i was shocked when i first saw that photo,i started to wonder a little. this photo is from when Alan(he started the BDM thread) found the Rotbox which i now own.it is eerily similar ,and Alan was always cursing about the "repairs" the old frenchman had done to this bus. of course this came out of Connecticut.anyway,heres the Rotbox

this bus is in a dark corner in my shop,its not the grey ghost(aka. Goldyrots) that i drive.
this bus is awaiting its turn on the operating table.
