I can't recall having seen this on here before and just came across it while searching google images.

He better have a beefy suspension to support the weight of that rack.

Go to "works in progress" and the to "'91 Syncro" at the bottom right.

Has anyone else noticed that they took a factory pop top and then sculpted the front portion of the luggage rack to the front of the top? Check out image 67.

Also if you watch the videos on pic page 3 you can see the rack lift working.

It looks like the same person had them build a 2wd single cab of sorts:

it appears to be steel tubing on the exoskeleton. While there is much to admire about the construction and the ingenuity, to my eyes the framework looks awkward and a bit too far from the body at the front.

I also wonder about the winch placement, long overhang at front, and the hitch at the rear. It might be just a trick of the camera, but the hitch looks a bit vulnerable to knocks when negotiating ditches.

It is so easy to criticize work completed. And so hard to envision the outcome when starting from scratch.

That was at Rocky Mountain Westy last year. Not sure if Mike was just doing the Suby conversion or some of the other work.

Like the single cab. Is it structurally sound?

I saw it while RMW was doing the Subie 2.5 turbo install. The paint job on this van was incredible. I'm sure working around that paint job will cause any fabricator to sweat bullets.
