Hello,

I have been trying to tune my buss's type 4 engine with hydraulic valves. When I got it, it idled and ran smooth, only a little hesitation at higher rpms. In installed all new tuneup stuff and timed it, but now I cant get it to run as smoothly at idle. It runs great cruising on the freeway. What could I have changed/ set wrong?

Thanks in advance.

What kind of distrbutor do you have? What do you have it timed at? If you have a 009 you have to time at 28-32 degrees before top dead center at 3500 rpms. Also double check your points.
