Update on the Bugorama in Phoenix
We are working hard to make this one of best events in the Southwest and are changing the layout of the event after talking to allot of people. Please realize this is our first time running an event at Firebird and we don't get to run the gate, like our other shows. We are going to do our best to make sure that the raceway has plenty of workers to get you into the event as quick as possible. I will be in Phoenix on Tuesday and will be meeting with the raceway staff and I will ask them about opening up a parking lot for overnight camping. Please note we have made changes on which gate to enter from past events at Phoenix.
I will post an update about the overnight camping parking lot on Thursday. If anyone has any questions please give us a call at 1-800-929-0077.Thanks, Steve Hole.
Gate #1 Racers and swappers
Gate #2 Vendors, car show participants and sponsors
Gate #3 All other spectators |

Alot of folks used the parking lot next to the rear gate to camp prior to the event. I think its tolerated but not advertised.
I've camped there for years along with others. _________________ Rusted Relics

This show is coming up pretty fast.
Keep your eyes out for us in the swap section. We are bringing alot of stuff.
If there is anything in particular you are looking for, let me know so I can add it to the pile.

Steve, I have used that same lot to park my big truck in when I have needed to deliver in the area there. Also the 2 casino's in there area also have HUGE lots. I have spent the night in my bus at the one on the road in front of the track a couple times.
I will also be getting a swap spot as I will not be racing the Standard. The lap belts I had installed are to small for my rather large self. |

There will be a large Yuma contention in Phx this weekend.
We will be in the above parking lot on Saturday afternoon possibly swapping out of the back of the trailer.
See you there! _________________ Rusted Relics

Holzman (host of Fiesta de Whetstone) and I are talking about going to look through the swap area. I know Michael needs something in his instrument panel for his 68 bay.
I'm trying to find someone to haul the doublecab seats from Bill Mays house to BOR. Anyone from San Diego thats interested please contact me and we'll haggle over the price. |
