Every now and then you see in Iltis up for sale. A diesel 4x4 version would suit me just fine.

Heck, I might even *gasp* sell my Thing for one.

If you're going to give up your Thing for an exclusive 4WD vehicle, don't go halfway. Pinzgauer or Unimog. Twisted Evil

The one I am most intrigued with is the Volvo C303. It is the size of the Pinzgauer and is water cooled with a sequential 8spd gear box. The motor is also a fairly standard Volvo motor so parts for that part should not be too hard to come by. I do love the look of the Pinzgauers though.
