Brought over 40 cars, but due to space limitations, was forced to display only around 28 pieces. 
Overview-
There was no time to choose which cars I should bring, so I settled on an all-red VW collection. I also limited my display to Microbuses and classic Beetles.
The whole display, along with my displaymate's campbell ERTLs and LLEDOs...

well, i'm the only one with an all-VW display. the rest were all-mazdas, all-evolutions, a cool dude had a vintage matchbox display (from 1959 tp 1969)
i actually brought 40 pieces of red beetles and microbuses of varying scales. but with the space limitations, i really had to cut back. and to think that i limited my models to the classic bug and the bus. i also have some red new beetles, but didn't bring them.
why red? well, my instructions were to display multi-scale toys. i felt that if i just displayed mixed colors, there won't really be a unifying theme, so all red it is. |
