I tried heat, I tried two differant pullers..I am now soaking it with liquid wrench..please any Thing experts that can help me out here? What am I doing wrong..is there a secret code to removing the damm lever arm? |

it is a splined part and possible last person mushroomed the end of the shaft.
try this, loosen the bolt that holds the bushing, move the arm and shaft assy out of the casing hole to get some angle on it and try to install the spring over the arm and shaft as a unit. |

the shaft end has not been mushroomed, it just will not come off..
there isn't a bolt insted there is a snapring that holds the throw out bearing arms in place...I removed the ring and pulled the clutch arm lever shaft out a little ways to get the old spring off and then installed the new one...
thanks for your help.. |
