Verify Year

Hey all, is there somewhere online that you can enter serial numbers/VIN numbers to verify the year of a Beetle? Just curious.

If you go up to the top of this page and select the Technical tab, then select Vin / Chassis numbers, you can look up the vin numbers used over the years. It comes up in the type 2 ( vans ) tab, so you need to be sure to select type 1 at the top before looking.
