| Can anyone tell me what type of "finish" the fresh air inlet screen and fresh air inlet "fly" catcher (wire mesh sock that sits right behind f.a. screen) would be on an early ghia (50's). I've seen many early coupes and conv. featured in the magazines over the years and noticed both flat black and chrome plated type finishes. How did they arrive from the factory? |

| recently parted a 67 ghia with original paint. they were rusted on the front and black on the backside. Many of the other ones I have seen were painted when the car was repainted. hope that helps |

| Good question. Every flycatcher I've ever seen was rusty. I wonder if the were painted at all. |
