I wish I could help with that but my dads was built around 1970 so that's how I knew how it was supposed to be assembled. I did change things up a littlie with mine.

I’ve been trying to research the Ocelot “Brush Buggy” “El Caballero”
To find out how many were made?

So far I’ve heard there were 12 made?
I’ve found 12 different photos of them so far,
2 of them have “Ocelot” on the tailgate
10 do not? Not sure why yet?
I own two of these buggies and I know of the people who own
10 of the 12 I’m still looking to identify the other two owners

If anyone has any other pictures or info please let me know

I am finally back to work on my buggy, it's been off the road for 5 years. I got tired of the unreliable VW engine. so it is getting a Subaru 2.5l. I'll post some videos of some of the progress the past couple of years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaY6wICReGY&t=1s
