L282 lotus white & L282 alcanna white paint discrepancy

i was looking through the paint codes for busses and noticed that both L282 lotus white and L282 alcanna white are using the same paint code. Is this correct, are both of these colors the same?


L 282 alcanna white was a popular color for wheel discs both inside and out from 58(?) up to 67 on commercial busses
and
L282 lotus white was used on deluxes as a body color from August 1965 up to July 1967; From Chassis Number 216 000 001 up to 217 148 459. pic of L282 http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/album_page.php?pic_id=18603
there isnt one for the alcanna.*


does anyone know the story on this?

ps. does anyone know the paint code for german postal yellow?

I am not familiar with Alcana White but that appears to be only for Ambulances or other Ivory vehicles.
