Wow I rember seeing this car at the CT dust off a few years back.
Talked to the owner for a goood 1/2 hour about it as I have it's twin. Mine is the same color but still has the og white seats with red pipping.
It's Going to be fun watching this one.

jmp, what do you remember about your twin? Nice ride? I'd love an old vert. My first car ever was a 71 vert Super Beetle...ok, ok, the super beetle part sucked, but the vert was awesome.

The twin to my 55 in ct the one on ebay is a nice car. It's the only other vintage red with white seat vert I have ever seen .They are rare It would be cool if you bought and kept it in new england. this what the seats once looked like maybe they can be striped back to the white.
