I know it says 1969, so technically I guess it would belong in the late model forum, but nothing about this car looks to be "100% original parts". Could be a Brazilian car I guess since its in the Miami area, but even then there seem to be a LOT of non original parts. |
Are those door panels held on with screws?!? _________________ "Just $99 down and $64 a month for 36 months buys you a brand new Volkswagen Beetle!"

It's not a Last Edition beetle. It's not a '69. It's not at all original. It's not a 13,000 mile car? Need I go on? _________________

I hate when non-VW restorers maul a classic ragtop then call it "Perfect car ready to go."
Jay- Why does that car have a dash handle (granted it's upside down)? Do you suppose the car once had a really neat Happich that got replaced by the inverted JC Whitney piece? _________________

Possibly, it could’ve been added at the dealer, or added later. If it had a nice original rare one, that probably disappeared a long time ago lol. |

I saw that and was wondering what happened with the ragtop, it looks messed up |
When I see that I think it's just the tip of the iceberg of problems- and with a ragtop- the rag really is the tip of the iceberg. _________________
