It has provenance and low miles, but it has been repainted, the wheels are now wrong color, the driver's seat is a mess, the engine cooling hoses are not original-----but other than that it looks to be a nice car. |
Did he repaint it? I can't tell. He claims untouched, but is he just talking about the seats? |
In the link to a bigger ad, the seller says "not original paint". And obviously the wheels have been repainted since it was pulled out of the barn. |

I see it now. And yes, the bright white wheels definitely look out of place.

That's weird, I think it might be a scam ad since they are also using "tyres".
No one in the USA would spell tires that way. 
It says it's in KY but they posted from California.
I deleted it for now, let's see if they ask me why.

B and N keys are next to each other so I can see slipping there, but spelling Beetle wrong twice?

If it’s legit, but I highly doubt it. Anyone selling a car like would usually show any type of documentation, a backstory, and definitely a better description. The pictures are horrible, as is the entire ad. Oh, then there’s the price…. |
