Wow cool because I have a 71 Super Beetle engine in my bus not that I need to do anything to the engine but I will be tuning her up soon and this video helps me look around.

If anyone has a video on installing heater boxes while the engine isn in a split bus please post. This video of pulling an engine from a Bay bus is pretty good especially because he tells us the wrench size to use gotta love it. If I get tired of smashing my knuckles I'll pull the engine I just don't know if i can get it back in with my crappy back but I have a nice big floor jack for help.

This video is somewhat helpful for me as I clean my set of heater boxes. Is it OK to leave some of that high heat paint on the flange before installing? I have heard installing the boxes (or is it best to call them heat exchanges?) can be done while the engine is in but easier with the engine out.

If you have a motorcycle jack for engine pulls/cart you can do them easily by yourself. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

Very cool video of a woman's 1967 daily driver getting a complete resotortation from what looks like VW? Worth the 8 minutes to see the love she has for her Annie.

For those of you who don't know the Norwegian youtube channel made by a man known simply as "Apetor" (I think pronounced ah-peh-tore), be prepared to be amused. His whole channel is somewhat surreal and akin to a Nordic Mr. Bean but with lots of Vodka involved. Anyhow - this is his latest creation (lots of old vw's throughout):

Also see this video from about 2 weeks ago with an interesting VW vintage powered snow crawler (starting around 1'40")

His other videos are a riot! _________________ 1964 Type 1 |
