Yes, by signing up for a Paypal account with a bank account attached, you gave Paypal permission to remove money from your account. Normally this would be under your authorization in order to pay for something. Whether they can do this without authorization is another question and I haven't checked with my bank to see if you can refute and reverse that sort of transaction. _________________ How to Post Photos

I'd like to hear your bank's response, Ev.
If you were worried about PP making unauthorized withdrawls from your acct, and decided to open another acct to make it into the "temporary" PP acct, it won't work. Even though you may change the bank acct connected to your PP acct, they will retain your old acct just in case they have to pull money from it. All without your authorization. |

Here is an update on what has happened so far.
I was getting no where with locating this guy. The phone# is a cell, so US search couldn't help me there. Just when I was planning to call a buddy of mine who lives in the southern US, I got a message on my machine on Tuesday from the seller regarding the wheels. I phoned him back, left a message and anticipated what he had to say to me. He phoned back later that night, and I tied into him. Turns out he was in jail for nearly a month and a half due to a DWI that turned into resisting arrest and other charges!!!! :2gunfire: None of his friends wold bail him cause they thought he was an idiot. I thought it was just a story, then realized if he really had scammed me why would he be phoning me back. He was also very sheepish on the phone, and never even made mention of the REAL nasty messages I had left for him the entire time.
Anyways he arranged shipping on Wed, and I talked to UPS down there direct and had them shipped out, so I should know for sure when they arrive in WI next Tuesday.
