I am ordering Bentley, but was wondering about the proper fix for the headlight swich I fried in South Dakota. The click to high beams cancelled out one dark and stormy night, and I couldn't see a d*** thing as I navigated around all the animals coming roadside near Belle Fourche. So I held the highs on with two fingers of the left hand, which I think also put the lows on at the same time and overloaded the switch. The blue indicator also bailed out. I notice that GoWesty has the right lever for sale for about $75 and they mention that is usually is the source of the problem if the highs disapear. I just received the three part switch (included keyless ignition), from a private Samba vendor and see there are 3 or so screws that I think hold the switches together. Is there anything else i should know before installing, and 2-how difficult to get the indicator back working again. Thank You.

Do you have the headlight relay upgrade installed? Takes the high amperage load off of the switches.

Search the forum for lots-o-good info.

Not Yet. Have read many topics on it here and elsewhere. Gotten into the
SA rounds, the H4 bulbs, E-Codes, Silvania upgrades, sealed units versus bulbs, and then bras to fit. My wife thinks I am having an affair!
