I am ordering Bentley, but was wondering about the proper fix for the headlight swich I fried in South Dakota. The click to high beams cancelled out one dark and stormy night, and I couldn't see a d*** thing as I navigated around all the animals coming roadside near Belle Fourche. So I held the highs on with two fingers of the left hand, which I think also put the lows on at the same time and overloaded the switch. The blue indicator also bailed out. I notice that GoWesty has the right lever for sale for about $75 and they mention that is usually is the source of the problem if the highs disapear. I just received the three part switch (included keyless ignition), from a private Samba vendor and see there are 3 or so screws that I think hold the switches together. Is there anything else i should know before installing, and 2-how difficult to get the indicator back working again. Thank You. |

Do you have the headlight relay upgrade installed? Takes the high amperage load off of the switches.
Search the forum for lots-o-good info.

Not Yet. Have read many topics on it here and elsewhere. Gotten into the
SA rounds, the H4 bulbs, E-Codes, Silvania upgrades, sealed units versus bulbs, and then bras to fit. My wife thinks I am having an affair! |
