I was looking at option of restoring or purchasing a lowlight steering wheel. Prices are crazy! Fortunately I could see the currently listed one for $1800 in person today. Small cracks, horn ring is painted not chrome, and the whole ring and plastic center are permanently fixed to the wheel so no horn functionality. Koch's charges 1/3 of what some of these folks are trying to charge. Of course you need a wheel to begin with. Just be careful out there before making a purchase!
